On September 26, the 2025 Intellectual Property Mingyuehu Forum was held in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing.Under the theme “Strengthening Administrative and Judicial Collaborative Protection and Jointly Building a New Pattern of Intellectual Property Protection”, the forum conducted in-depth exchanges, analyzed the current situation, explored solutions to challenges, and shared practical experience and theoretical thinking on the development of intellectual property in the context of globalization and digitalization from various perspectives.

The forum arranged several parallel sessions. Parallel Forum III, themed “Optimizing Intellectual Property Services to Boost High-Quality Development”, focused on pain points and upgrading paths in the intellectual property service sector, and invited representatives from IP service institutions in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and other regions to share practical experience.With nearly 20 years of practical experience in intellectual property services, Mr. Li Yang, Managing Partner of our firm, was invited to attend this parallel forum and share his views.

During his speech, combining industry trends and service practices, Mr. Li Yang first pointed out that each service institution has its own advantageous fields. He called for “service institutions to break down barriers, form alliances and work together to create synergies, so as to provide more targeted services to enterprises in the park”.

He then shared further thoughts on optimizing intellectual property services around core directions including “building a standardized plus customized service system”, “creating a cross-domain collaborative service ecosystem”, and “improving differentiated services for regions and enterprises”. He emphasized that institutions should leverage their respective strengths to achieve resource complementarity, and proposed upgrading services through systematization, ecology and differentiation to provide more comprehensive intellectual property protection for enterprises.

Throughout the sharing, Mr. Li Yang put forward many suggestions in line with enterprise needs and industry development, and discussed with guests on-site how high-quality intellectual property services can empower high-quality development.

The exchanges at the Mingyuehu Forum not only demonstrated Mr. Li Yang’s profound expertise in the intellectual property field, but also highlighted our firm’s unwavering commitment to deeply engaging in enterprise services and supporting industrial upgrading.
